Tutoring Services: 3 hour session - I meet you at an agreed place and teach you how I quickly select my keeper images from thousands of downloads into Lightroom, edit the files and even do a little photoshop magic here and there. This session will help you make your workflow more efficient with better rendered images.
(This session is not a portrait retouching session....it will focus on landscape/wildlife/outdoor-style image editing)
The session will range between 2-3 hours depending on your learning speed. Register below and I will contact you for scheduling at your convenience.

The Tetons are magical in the Fall. Beautiful yellows blanket the park and surrounding areas and it makes for breathtaking scenes. And..... there are also the animals. In addition to scoping out beautiful scenery to photography, we will be ever on the lookout for the wide variety of wildlife that resides in the Tetons. Some of those critters could be bison, moose, elk, coyote, fox, bald eagles and river otters. Plus, all the pops of fall color make it all such a sight to behold.

Berry College, a private liberal arts institution nestled on 26,000 acres outside of Rome, Georgia is not just an educational institution, but also an education for the senses. The Berry campus is simply a sight to see. From the photogenic cut stone complex built by Henry Ford in the 1920’s, to the college’s mountain campus, the old mill waterwheel and more, there is so much to photograph. Join Ledra as she leads you through her alma mater. A lot has changed over the years since she graduated, but the things that make Berry a breathtakingly beautiful campus are still there for all to see.

Yellowstone is certainly one national park that mystifies visitors and offers a wonderful and fascinating playground for the photographer. Even more so in winter. The only way into Yellowstone in the Winter is with a commercial snow coach or snowmobile tour company.....so the tourists are MINIMAL!! Plus, animals are much easier to spot and really stand out from their usual surroundings. Then add a layer of snow on their coats and you'll get images like no other.
This workshop will involve three days in our own private snow coach with our driver helping spot wildlife and steering us to amazing scenic areas as well. We will explore most of the mid to southern part of the park on the snow coach for the first 3 days and then spend a day and a half based on the north end in Gardiner, MT exploring the road through the Lamar Valley to Cooke City. We will also take some time to play in the Mammoth Springs area.

Jekyll Island will be our base for these photo-filled days. Famous Driftwood Beach will definitely be one of our targets as well as other interesting subjects on the island itself. But we will also take a fun jaunt over to Darien, Georgia to photograph the famous shrimp boats along the river as well.

This is one fantastic experience. You will photograph coastal brown bears foraging in the meadows, clamming on the tidal flats at low tide and possibly mother bears nursing their new babies. You will be the closest you have ever been to a bear while still being safe. Add to that an excursion to photograph horned puffins and you have one amaing experience. Stunning images await these workshop participants.

Join us on one of most sought-after photo opportunities on the East Coast. We start with almost-impossible-to-get tickets on a boat tour to take us to an absolute puffin paradise. Get up close and personal with these little cuties and capture images that you will not believe. Then we spend the next several days exploring some of the most beautiful coastlines and villages in Nova Scotia. This will be an amazing multi-experience trip.

Arches and Canyonlands National Parks reside in an area of the United States that is home to the largest concentration of natural stone arch formations. The parks actually preserve over 2000 natural sandstone arches ranging in size from 3 to 306 feet wide. No where else can you see such an array of landforms, striking colors and visible textures. Millions of years of geologic activity, mineral deposits and erosion have shaped and sculpted this remarkably stunning land.

This one is a 7-day extravaganza of photography. Starting in York, this workshop will put you at Maine's top 3 most popular and photogenic lighthouses at both sunrise and sunset and includes a private sunset sailboat charter one evening.

The Tetons are magical in the Winter. A blanket of snow makes everything stunningly different. Join us for 5 days in Grand Teton National Park where we will not only explore the park via private vehicle looking for all sorts of wildlife and landscape views, we will also visit a working ranch for real western photography and enjoy a sleigh ride outing to get up close and personal to hundreds of elk!
