AT THE END OF 2022 I will have attended 32 Natural Connections Photo Workshops. Their advanced planning and scouting of each location is outstanding. No wasted time during the workshop. They take you to the best photo locations at the most ideal time of day. The group size of a photography workshop or photography class allows time for each participant to enjoy one on one instruction. Because I shoot Olympus (thanks to Ledra) her knowledge of Olympus cameras is very helpful and important to me. Make no mistake, her knowledge is not limited to Olympus equipment. Since my first workshop in 2014 I have been taken from a beginner to an advanced photographer. Honest and informative critiques of images taken during the workshop has improved my photography. I HAVE ATTENDED 28 workshops with Natural Connections and have registered for 4 more. Ledra shares her unique experience and knowledge to encourage everyone to understand the basics of their camera, so you can capture that awesome photo. I have had so much fun learning photography with Natural Connections, simply because of the beautiful places they choose to photograph. I like that they welcome all levels of photographers and are always making sure you have the correct settings, regardless of the camera you use. They are constantly interacting with the group and have positive feedback for each person. NATURAL Connections Photo Workshops are just plain fun to go on. I have been on eight of these photo workshops and have one already planned for next year. I have found that these photography workshops and photo classes are a very good value and go to both exotic and local venues. I like going to different photographic locations with other photographers, and I have always learned something new and have had fun being with each group. JOE B.
MY WIFE AND I attended the Savannah workshop. It was AWESOME. Exactly what I wanted. I’ve been wanting to photograph Savannah for a long time, and this workshop put me in the right places at the right times. Even with an overcast day we ended up with some great photos at Tybee Island and captured the firing of cannon at Fort Pulaski at exactly the right time to get the red/yellow fire ball shooting from the cannon. Ledra guided us right through the shot making sure we had the correct composition and camera settings. She left nothing to chance. I was so impressed with the workshop I signed up for the Arches workshop. These workshops are just simply fun! SAM B.
I'VE ATTENDED 5 workshops (looking forward to #6) with Natural Connections and am so happy to have found them! Ledra gives such personalized attention to each individual person throughout the entire photo event. Your camera choice and shooting experience makes no difference. I WENT ON 2 workshops this year and have already signed up for the Smokies and New River Gorge photo workshops next year. The workshops were a great learning experience and I really enjoyed spending time with like minded photographers. Ledra is great teacher and is a fun person to be with. She is super organized and packs a LOT of experiences into each workshop. This definitely enhances the whole workshop experience. Highly recommended! MICKEY B.
THE FORMAT WAS PERFECT – class instruction followed photography in the field. The critique at the end of the workshop made me realize something about myself. That is, I prefer creating in photography small vignettes rather than large tableaus. Thanks to Ledra for her help! MARSHA W.
