If you've never been to a rodeo, it is definitely something to do in your lifetime. If you've never been to a rodeo with a CAMERA, you should definitely join us September 4, 2026 for an exciting evening of action and honing your shutter speed skills to get exactly the shot you want.
Shoot fast for frozen action and bulls in mid-buck OR learn to use a slow shutter to exaggerate the motion in front of you, creating more artful and impressionistic images.
You will be guided through the whole process from beginning to end - shooting the 'story' shots before the rodeo and then capturing fun and creative shots during all the rodeo events of the evening.
Workshop fee covers tuition only. You will need purchase your rodeo ticket online prior to the event. Do not wait until the night of the event as they do sell out.
This workshop starts with a meeting at 6:45pm with an introduction and discussion of the night's activities and a discussion on proper camera settings and technique. The workshop will end when the rodeo finishes around 10:30pm. The gates open at 6pm.
The last date for a refund if you cancel is June 1st. After that, refunds are only offered if someone can take your place.
