Sloss Furnaces - Birmingham, AL - June 6, 2020

Tuition $99 - Includes admission to the site

If you are a fan of color, texture, and industrial grunge, this 1-day workshop is for you.  Join Natural Connections at Birmingham's National Historic Landmark, Sloss Furnaces - a pig iron blasting furnace that operated continuously for almost 100 years.

Learn a little something about the iron blasting process and deep dive for a close-up experience around the furnaces themselves.  It is an amazing opportunity to photograph a variety of shapes, colors and textures culminating in unusual and graphic images.

If you are an Olympus shooter, its a great place to practice using in-camera HDR and the Olympus art filters setting on the camera.

But regardless of which camera system you shoot, you are guaranteed to come away with images different from anything you've shot before.

This workshop starts at 10:00 am at the facility and ends around 2:30 pm.

Cancellation Note:  The last day to cancel and receive a refund for this workshop is May 23, 2020.  After that date, you can only be refunded if we have someone to take your place.
